Bajan cooking demo

Randolph Bancroft was born in Barbados and from an early age was always fascinated by the fish truck that came through his village selling fish. Picking up traditional Bajan recipes from his grandmother through watching her cook, he started to cater for local events such as football and volleyball games. Moving to the UK in the 1990s, Randolph bought his culinary skills with him and has since set up a restaurant in Reading alongside his catering business.

Come and get a taste of Barbados with dishes from macaroni pie and mini fish cakes to jerk chicken and mini fried dumplings, there's lots of flavours for you to try! There will also be a cooking demo where you can watch authentic Bajan dishes being made right in front of you.
